Our client - the Finance Shared Service Center organization supports all units globally. They have an exciting future ahead of them with a clear Finance strategy roadmap. Finance will have a powerful role related to a lean, efficient, and digital environment, and they are aiming to be on the frontline of next-generation Business Finance.

We are now looking for an RTR Accountant to join our team.

your tasks

preparation and posting of journal entries for IFRS-specific accounting areas (e.g. intercompany, treasury, fixed assets, pension accounting, inventory)

reconciliation of balance sheet accounts

analysis of financial statement figures and variances

responding in an effective and timely manner to all Business Partners’ inquiries concerning your area of responsibilities

driving standardization and improvements of accounting processes; using Business excellence as the tool to reach future goals

participation in internal and external audits

what we expect

very good English or other European language f.e. German, French, Italian, Portuguese or Spanish

university graduate with at least 2-3 years of work experience in accounting / finance area

broad knowledge and understanding of accounting principles (especially IFRS)

computer literacy and experience with MS Office applications (with particular focus on Excel). Practical knowledge of SAP would be an asset

results and action-oriented individual with good interpersonal and communication skills

pragmatic & logical thinker with an eye for detail and an analytical mind

flexible, especially in the period of month / year-end closing

strong organizational and time management skills
