Senior Analyst, Reinsurance Pricing

We are looking for a Portfolio Analyst who will support the Reinsurance Portfolio Actuary in guiding and reporting on the Reinsurance Segment’s business planning and portfolio assessment.

What will your essential responsibilities include?
- Facilitate the submission of the Reinsurance Business Plan by actively participating in the data transfer to Anaplan and collaborating with their technical team to optimize the system and streamline the process. Develop a good understanding of the numbers and metrics involved to be able to support the reporting process and ensure alignment between applications – liaising with the Data and Reporting team as needed.
- Contribute to the development of the Underwriting Plan Tool by incorporating user feedback, such as changes identified in the post-mortem review of the Plan process, and exploring new functionalities.
- Support the maintenance and development of the dashboard in Power BI to assess the predictiveness of various metrics by conducting exploratory data analysis, testing new metrics and engaging with business experts to refine and communicate the analysis
- Participate in the Top Down Loss Ratio Review process, by assisting the data preparation phase, the development of templates and providing user support on them as needed.
- Collaborate with the Underwriting Risk team to support the alignment of loads applied in pricing and those established by the Risk Management Team
- Such other activities as directed by the Portfolio Actuary that may support Portfolio Design and Reporting of the Reinsurance Segment

1-3 years of experience in the actuarial field or a related area (ideally still in the insurance / reinsurance field)Good knowledge of Excel / PowerPoint with ideally some experience with Power BI and / or PythonFluency in English, any additional European language is of advantageFIND your future
