Senior Fullstack React / Next.js Engineer @ Appliscale

Our client is one of the largest game studios known for its very successful online MOBA and FPS franchises. You will be part of a Player Platform team responsible for building and maintaining a web portal for content creators who use our client's products.

The purpose of this team is to build a new robust solution based on Next.js framework that will interface with Salesforce CRM for data management.

Your team will comprise experienced engineers from Poland who will work closely with other EU and US West Coast engineering teams. Although it's not a daily requirement, due to working across multiple time zones, flexibility to attend later meetings is an important factor for success in this role

Each team member is expected to proactively propose tools, designs, and implementation strategies.

• Minimum of 3 years commercial work experience
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Strong fronted focus with the skills to dive into backend when needed - comfortable across the stack, but passionate about crafting great user-facing experiences
• Strong command of Typescript programming language
• Good knowledge of React and Next.js
• Very good knowledge of CSS
• Experience building frontend interfaces directly from design mockups in Figma or similar tools
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g. Jest, RTL, Playwright)
• Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) and build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite)
• Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and handling data formats like JSON / XML
• Understanding of object-oriented programming principles, backed by hands-on experience with any statically-typed language (e.g., Java, C#, C++, Kotlin, Swift, TypeScript, Scala, Go, Rust, or similar)
• Aptitude for debugging, analyzing issues, and implementing effective solutions
• Effective communication and teamwork skills

Design, develop, test and deploy Next.js applications, May assist with Apex development to enhance Salesforce functionality when necessary, Occasionally assisting non-technical users in navigating and utilizing Salesforce CRM, Prepare design docs, implementation strategy and choose appropriate libraries, Collaborate within your pod (up to 3 engineers) and with other cross-functional teams, Create, manage and document RESTful APIs, Write and execute unit, integration and end-to-end tests, participate in code reviews, Create, modify and maintain CI / CD pipelines with Docker and Github Actions] Requirements : React, Next.js, TypeScript, CSS, Apex, Salesforce, AWS, Datadog, SQL Additionally : Free coffee, Playroom, Shower, Free snacks, Free beverages, In-house trainings, In-house hack days, Startup atmosphere.
