About the project
We are looking for a Java Developer with experience in Windchill PLM to join our Engineering Competence Center. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and customization of Windchill-based solutions, as well as for technical communication with clients and support project planning by estimating development workload. We are looking for a person with a strong Java development background, experience in Windchill PLM, and the ability to manage both technical work and direct interactions with clients. You will support client projects and internal initiatives with your technical skills.
Your responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain solutions in Java using the Model-View-Controller (MVC) architectureCustomize workflows and manage component data within the Windchill PLM systemEstimate effort and complexity for new development tasks and enhancementsPrepare functional specifications and customization documentationWrite and execute unit tests to ensure solution stability and maintainabilityParticipate in presales activities and collaborate directly with the client to gather requirements and clarify technical needsOur requirements
Minimum 4 years of experience in Java development, including MVC architectureSolid knowledge of the PTC Windchill PLM system, particularly in data management and workflow customizationExperience working with relational databases and writing SQL queriesFamiliarity with code repositories and CI tools, e.g., Git, SVN, JenkinsProficiency in writing clear technical documentation and specificationsStrong communication skills and ability to work directly with clients; good English - minimum B2 levelOptional
Experience with other PLM systems, e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, Dassault EnoviaBackground in engineering or product lifecycle domainsWhat we offer
