Our product, vPenTest, is poised to revolutionize the cybersecurity landscape by offering unparalleled penetration testing capabilities. Job Overview : We are looking for a dedicated and innovative Automated QA Engineer to join our vPenTest team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about quality assurance and possesses a keen eye for detail. Your primary role will be to design, develop, and implement automated and manual testing scenarios to ensure product quality. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, passion for software quality, and the ability to work well in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable automated test scripts.
  • Perform manual testing when needed
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs through to resolution.
  • Work closely with the development team to improve existing products and develop new features.
  • Participate in design and specification reviews to ensure quality considerations are incorporated and to provide feedback.
  • Collaborate with the QA team to develop effective strategies and test plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies. Required Skills and Qualifications :
  • Minimum of 2 years of QA experience, with at least 1 year specifically in automated QA.
  • Proven experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks, specifically Gherkin / Cucumber.
  • Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Nice to Have :
  • Experience with Ruby, RSpec, and Capybara.
  • Familiarity with Playwright for browser automation.
  • Familiarity with Jira and Zephyr for test management.
