Production Planner

As the Production Planner, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating all operations to ensure timely order fulfillment. You will collaborate with teams such as warehouse operations, business support, transport department and customer. You will optimize resources and processes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring customer orders are fulfilled on time and within quality standards. You will perform multiple handovers and backlog reports.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :

• Ensure all Files / Orders are dropped into Production in a timely manner to ensure the Handover date as per the CDM Matrix is met
• Perform changes to Manifest File handover date in the respect of notified delays
• On hold order monitoring and resolution (Deviation Set up and action, inbound planning prioritization, missing stock monitoring)
• Rejection Manifest control – Monitoring and correction / release into production
• Continue Monitoring and chasing the following areas : replenishment, picking, processing, outbound
• Exception Reporting, Backlog Report and Missed Carrier Handover Report
• Troubleshooting, Liaison with Inbound and Inventory stock issues
• Accurate and timely issuing of Backlog and Missed carrier handover reports
• Ensure all order on hold, are actioned where possible (deviation, inbound receipt prioritized, inventory issue resolved)
• Monitor all manifests / orders once released to ensure any issue in production is highlighted and actioned to ensure handover is maximized
