Overview

GlobalLogic is inviting an experienced Senior Data Platform Engineer to join our team and work on a strategic engagement with Cloudera, a global leader in enterprise data management and analytics. You will be part of a highly skilled international team responsible for building and optimizing large-scale data platforms that power mission-critical business solutions, with a focus on advanced storage, streaming, and governance. This role offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge big data technologies and influence how enterprises process, store, and govern their data at scale.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes-based infrastructure for big data workloads in hybrid environments.
• Implement container orchestration for scalable, resilient data platforms with automated deployments.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate DevOps practices into data pipeline development.
• Ensure infrastructure reliability, security, and performance across on-premises and cloud setups.
• Perform root cause analysis on deployment and infrastructure issues, providing automated solutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to the continuous improvement of DevOps standards and processes.
