Android Developer - Core Team

We are looking for an Android Developer to join the Core Team. You will be part of a distributed, fully agile team of 8-10 engineers, supporting and improving the quality of the Android application, creating tools for other developers, and contributing to security, performance, and stability. You will also contribute to the Android community and collaborate across product teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features according to designs and requirements, from architecture design and implementing business logic and UI to writing automated tests and deploying changes to production.
• Develop internal tools such as automation utilities, design system components, and internal libraries.
• Perform maintenance and bug fixing as needed.
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, release trains, and other development rituals.
• Lead initiatives from time to time.
• Follow production deployments and respond to production incidents within your scope.
• Guide less experienced developers and suggest architectural improvements.
• Join feature teams, work on feature tasks, and help with transversal issues.
• Explore new solutions, libraries, and services and write summaries to help others make better decisions.
• Improve automation tools, configure CI pipelines, and keep projects up-to-date.
