The Global Process Owner (GPO) – Procure-to-Pay (P2P) is a strategic leader responsible for designing, governing, and continuously improving the end-to-end P2P process across the Group.
This role focuses on process effectiveness, efficiency and scalability- driving transformation, automation, and systems integration to deliver scalable, compliant, and efficient P2P solutions.
The P2P Global Process Owner works in partnership with the Global Chief Accountant and CEO.
Your responsibilities :
- Ensure strategic alignment of P2P processes with the company's overall goals and business objectives
- Drive stakeholder satisfaction through identifying value-add and continuous improvement opportunities including use of AI where applicable
- Serve as the central point of contact for all stakeholders involved in the P2P process
- Own complete responsibility for end-to-end P2P process including Accounts Payable, Purchasing, and Supplier Management
- Ensure consistency and uniformity in P2P processes across different locations and business units
- Lead process design and requirements gathering for processes and systems rollouts to new entities
- Champion digitalization and automation initiatives within P2P to enhance accuracy and efficiency
- Coordinate the integration of P2P systems with existing financial platforms for seamless data flow
- Contribute to technology roadmap development and implementation
- Evaluate and implement technologies to support the P2P process, including e-procurement systems, orchestration tools, and e-invoicing platforms
- Identify and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the P2P process and take corrective actions as needed
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and eliminate inefficiencies
- Research emerging trends and technologies to address current process challenges
- Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing across globally distributed P2P team members
- Maintain process documentation, user guides, and knowledge repositories
- Provide regular training and guidance to P2P teams to cultivate process expertise and compliance
- Bridge communication gaps between sourcing, contracting, IT, legal, and Finance AP teams
- Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and policies related to procurement and finance
- Conduct risk assessments and implement controls to ensure regulatory and policy adherence
- Partner with Internal Audit teams to ensure P2P processes meet compliance requirements

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Information Systems5+ years of experience in finance operations, accounts payable, procurement, or P2P leadership roles.Process and Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma, BPM certification) or equivalent experienceProgressive experience in leading Procure to Pay teams and / or processes in a global / international environmentProven track record in driving change and process transformation throughout organizationsTechnical acumen with comfort using P2P systems and technologiesExperience with process automation and digital transformation initiativesStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with business insight developmentExceptional communication skills (written and verbal) with ability to engage stakeholders at all levelsHands-on approach with strong work ethic and can-do attitudeUnderstanding of best practices and metrics for procure to pay servicesStrategic vision with ability to set direction and align P2P operations with business objectivesFluency in EnglishSeniority level
