about-project :

  • Data Platform is a new strategic product at OEC. Its goal is to enable domains teams to deliver better quality data to our products faster through reliable and secure cloud infrastructure. As part of this journey, you will play a key role in shaping the technology vision and making architecture decisions for the platform. You will influence our product roadmap and work closely with other product and enterprise architects to drive how the data empowers our automotive business. This is a unique opportunity to leave a real footprint in building a global data ecosystem.
  • This is a hybrid role, working from the OEC Cracow office about 1 day a month is required.

    • responsibilities :

  • Design, build, and manage the full lifecycle of a modern data platform, covering everything from infrastructure provisioning to the rollout of data services.
  • Ensure smooth integration of the platform with applications, tools, and enterprise services, maintaining a consistent and intuitive experience for its users.
  • Develop a scalable and resilient architecture that supports data lakes, warehouses, and analytics capabilities.
  • Utilize Terraform for building Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to streamline and automate infrastructure setup and maintenance.
  • Ensure observability of the platform’s infrastructure, pipeline execution and data management
  • Champion data governance across the platform, implementing access controls, security policies and audit mechanisms aligned with best practices.
  • Establish secure cloud storage and interfaces for data that meet compliance standards and protect sensitive information.

    • requirements-expected :

  • 8+ years of experience in data architecture, platform engineering, or related fields, with a strong focus on designing and managing end-to-end platform solutions.
  • Experience in Terraform scripts for automating infrastructure management.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS cloud platform and data technologies like Glue, Snowflake, Redshift, DBT.
  • Expertise in DevOps tools and CI / CD pipelines.
