This role is ideal for individuals passionate about designing modern cloud-native systems. You will be responsible for creating secure, scalable, and cost-optimized designs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the evolution of our architecture standards. You’ll work closely with Data Engineering, DevOps and Security teams, ensuring seamless integration and sustainable solutions across the enterprise.
You will actively participate in architecture board reviews, proactively modernize legacy designs and introduce new technologies into organization. Contribute to a collaborative design community. What will you be doing?
Creating architecture designs for cloud-native solutions backed by AWS or Azure technologies.
Supervising and assisting in the implementation of your design.
Proactively identifying and modernizing outdated designs to meet current standards.
Collaborating with fellow designers in architecture forums to share ideas and align on direction.
Working with tools like Dataiku and RStudio (POSIT) to support data science and analytics workflows.
Acting to bridge the gap between Data Engineering and DevOps teams, ensuring efficient collaboration and delivery.
Designing integrations with platforms like Snowflake , ensuring performance and scalability.
Evaluating and recommending secure authentication protocols for system designs.
Understanding and accounting for networking protocols and their impact on system performance.
Continuously optimizing designs for cost-efficiency and sustainability.
Willing to use Gen-AI tools to boost your productivity
What we're looking for?
Technical must have :
Min. 3 years' experience in Architecture area
Proven experience in cloud solution design in AWS environments
Strong understanding of modern architectural patterns used in system design, such as layered architecture, event-driven architecture, service-oriented architecture (SOA), and microservices
Knowledge of authentication protocols (OAuth2, SAML, OpenID Connect)
Understanding of commonly used networking protocols such as HTTP, TCP / IP, DNS, VPN, etc.
Solid grasp of DevOps and Data Engineering practices.
Experience with cost optimization and sustainability in cloud environments.
Understanding of micro services strategies and containerization concepts
Technical nice to have :
Azure experience as a significant advantage.
Familiarity with Dataiku , RStudio (POSIT) and Snowflake (or willingness to learn)
Understanding of Kubernetes and its AWS implementation (EKS) is a strong advantage
Hands-on experience in micro services strategies and containerization concepts

Nice-to-Have Certifications which would help you ace this role :
AWS Certified Solutions Architect (preferred) or other AWS Associate or higher certifications to prove your understanding of AWS
Snowflake SnowPro Certification or Dataiku Core Designer would be a great advantage
