As a Visa Site Reliability Engineer you will be an integral part of a cross‑functional team inventing designing building and testing software products that reach a truly global customer base. While supporting components of cutting‑edge payment technology you will get to see your efforts shaping the digital future of monetary transactions. The Product Reliability Team prides itself in keeping the applications and systems of Visa up and running to cater to the 24 7 needs of the business. These systems are truly the backbone of our business and process millions of transactions daily for some of the most prestigious companies in the US. Lead the design and implementation of high‑performance systems to meet business requirements. Oversee the performance validation and engineering processes to ensure optimal system functionality. Provide technical expertise in Kubernetes DevOps Docker and Java to support various projects. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate performance engineering best practices. Develop and maintain performance testing frameworks and tools. Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement. Implement performance tuning and optimization strategies. Ensure that all systems are scalable and can handle increased loads. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide recommendations for enhancements. Work closely with the Asset Management Operations team to align system performance with business needs. Develop and document performance engineering standards and guidelines. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve system performance. Mentor and guide junior team members in performance engineering best practices. Possess a strong background in Performance Validation and Performance Engineering.
