A central part of this journey is BEC’s tech transformation where contracts with 3rd party IT suppliers will be a natural and continuous part of the operating model.
To support BEC’s strategic aspirations, the Procurement team is in the process of ramping up with an IT-Contract Manager with the main task of conducting negotiations of IT contracts and managing the regulatory requirements being posed on BEC (NIS2 Directive and DORA) when engaging with third-parties, in connection with the negotiation as well as management of the contracts. Further, you will support our procurement partners in larger procurement projects, ensuring the best possible contractual and commercial terms
As a Contract Manager you will work in close cooperation with the 1st line contract owners as well as other supporting stakeholders in Risk Management, GDPR, Legal and Information Security.
At BEC, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, but we also keep the opportunity to work remotely up to 8 days per month. Your direct manager will be Claus Skovmand.
responsibilities :
Negotiation, renegotiations and prolongation of contracts
Managing regulatory requirements in relation to third-parties (ref. NIS2 and DORA)
Participation in major procurement projects assuming the role of contractual specialist
Resolve disputes concerning rights and obligations and commercial terms as a first line capacity
Provide advice and support in terms of contractual understanding and commercial perspective to the contract owners
Educate internal stakeholders and establish contract management handbooks
requirements-expected :
Have proven experience (at least 5 years) from either the financial sector or an organization purchasing IT and live and breathe for interaction with suppliers and an equal interest in securing the contractual compliance.
Demonstrate a good understanding of legal and contractual frameworks, ensuring compliance with internal policies and supporting internal rules, and regulatory requirements while still accounting for commercial aspects of the contract.
Have experience with tools for contract management and tracking obligations.
Be detail-oriented and have a keen interest in the legal and sector requirements.
Have strong coordination and stakeholder management skills, effectively managing relationships between internal teams and suppliers.
Possess strong interpersonal skills combined with the ability to manage and communicate effectively in high-pressure situations.
Be excellent at cross-organizational collaboration and being able to lead cross-organizational tasks.
Be known for your integrity, persistence, and quality-focused approach to tasks.
Have Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a field relevant to procurement, law or business operations.
With colleagues in teams distributed in Denmark and Poland, you must master English at a high level both in writing and orally.
