Coople is a pioneer in on-demand digital staffing and is looking to strengthen their internal mobile engineering team with a skilled React Native developer.

Your Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Mentoring - Foster growth of our cross-platform mobile team while promoting React Native best practices. Provide clear guidance on architectural patterns to ensure scalability, maintainability, and code quality across both iOS and Android platforms.
React Native Expertise - Champion a unified approach to mobile development through React Native, ensuring consistent user experiences across platforms while maximizing code reuse and development efficiency.
Process & Quality - Drive adoption of continuous integration, automated testing, and monitoring to deliver robust mobile solutions. Foster best practices for version control, release cycles, and crash analytics.
Feature Delivery - Collaborate with product, UX, and backend teams to define, design, and implement new features. Identify technical debt and performance bottlenecks, proposing cross-platform solutions that benefit the entire mobile experience.
Ownership & Collaboration - Conduct code reviews, ensure clear documentation, and take part in organizing sprint planning. Engage with other teams, share insights, and align development processes for consistency.

What you bring as the ideal candidate for the role :

Mobile Expertise :

years building commercial mobile apps, with experience shipping apps to both App Store and Google Play.

years commercial experience with React Native

Strong TypeScript skills with deep understanding of React Native's architecture and lifecycle.

Experience integrating and developing APIs, handling data persistence and managing backward compatibility.

Knowledge of native module integration when React Native capabilities need extension.

Leadership & Teamwork :

Proven ability to mentor developers, set technical direction, and maintain high engineering standards.

Experience bridging the gap between design and development teams.

Excellent communication skills in English, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and feedback.

Process-Oriented :

Willingness to experiment with AI-driven tools or new libraries to optimize workflows.

Hands-on experience with CI / CD pipelines, testing frameworks (Jest, Detox), and observability tools to ensure stability and resilience.

Experience with code sharing strategies and monorepo approaches.

Bonus Points :

Previous experience with native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) development.

Familiarity with React Native Navigation, Redux / Context API, and React Hooks.

Experience with Expo ecosystem.
