Lead React Full Stack Engineer (Remote)

Overview

We’re looking for a Frontend-Heavy Full Stack Engineer to join Togal.AI, where we’re building an AI-powered pre-construction takeoff tool for the construction industry. This role centers on owning complex front-end architecture, shipping product-led growth features, and contributing across the stack with React at the core of everything you do.

What You’ll Do

• Architect & Build Front-End Systems : Design and maintain scalable, high-performance React applications, with a strong focus on performance, accessibility, and clean UI.
• Innovate with Features : Prototype, iterate, and ship new product features quickly (e.g., estimation add-ons, layout generation, 3D visualization).
• Shape UX & Design : Collaborate with UX designers, provide technical feedback on prototypes, and independently implement polished, signed-off designs.
• Performance Optimization : Continuously improve responsiveness and speed in complex front-end systems.
• Contribute Across the Stack : Work with Node.js APIs, cloud deployment, and assist with our migration from REST to GraphQL.
• Collaborate Closely : Partner with product, design, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences while influencing frontend best practices.
