Responsibilities

• Set and communicate the roadmap for the Platform Engineering group based on business needs. Ensure Glia systems remain highly secure and robust during rapid customer growth by proactively leading regional availability and recoverability, data distribution, security, and compliance projects.
• Lead the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) function, review and implement best practices for operations across all engineering teams.
• Lead the adoption of the DevOps approach by providing tools, training, and best practices.
• Mentor and coach Engineering Managers and Technical Leaders inside the Platform Group.

Your group will consist of several engineering teams in Europe and North America (including Pacific Coast timezone). You will partner with the CTO, Directors of Engineering, Senior Engineering Managers, and the Security and Compliance team.
