Director, Specialist Sales, Transfer Solutions

Overview

Develop and execute a market strategy for Local Platforms, Send Product across EEMEA countries. This role will involve strategy creation, business development including new investments, strategic alliances, developing bespoke solutions to drive domestic relevance and managing & deploying existing partnerships and commercializing existing assets to establish MasterCard brand leadership in the payment space.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute market strategy aligned with the regional and global Mastercard Transfer Solutions strategy
  • Proven track record of business development and global product management in multiple countries
  • Strong technical and business background
  • Deep knowledge about multiple stakeholder management
  • Experience in negotiating, executing and managing large customer commercial relationships and agreement processes with clients
  • Interpersonal and negotiation skills – extensive experience communicating in international environment at senior management level
  • Developing bespoke solutions to build ecosystem infrastructure
  • Develop region specific Product / sales strategies to help drive sales of transfer solutions products and associated Value Added services
  • Conduct opportunity assessments on new ideas and concepts and provide design specifications for product enhancements to Product Development
  • Develop new partner / alliance relationships and maintain and strengthen existing partner / alliance relationships; managing Platforms team for day to day business
  • Deal with multiple stakeholders for technical and operational tasks
  • Design economies of the business for EEMEA countries

All About You

  • Bachelor’s degree and equivalent work experience
  • Expert relevant work experience with a core knowledge of data processing concepts and financial industry / banking operations practices
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of payment solutions, with significant experience in product, sales and business development
  • Action oriented and results driven with a disciplined approach to deliver sales targets, financial analysis, and strategic development
  • Strong relationship management skills – experience managing multiple stakeholders in a multicultural environment, negotiating and influencing skills, ability to execute through others who do not report directly to you
  • Committed to quality with a strong focus on customer needs
  • Team management experience
  • Strong people management and coaching skills
  • Fluent English language proficiency
  • Corporate Security Responsibility
