Your new company

Our Client is a global company located in Krakow that is developing high quality software-as-a-service products. On behalf of the company, we are currently looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer who will play a key role in levelling up the retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) platform for various channels like customer service bots, email, and search. Working with other ML Engineers you will build high-quality AI products using the latest tools and techniques.

Your new role

  • Delivering AI-powered capabilities to customers using the latest in LLM technology
  • Working closely with Product Management, ML Scientists and other ML Engineers to define feature scope and implementation strategies
  • Mentoring junior team members, as well as pairing with more experienced colleagues to foster mutual learning
  • Supporting deployed services to ensure a high level of stability and reliability
  • Contributing to discussions regarding technical design and best practices
  • Writing clean and maintainable code to meet the team’s delivery commitments

What you39ll need to succeed

  • Min. 5 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or related position
  • Proficiency in Python, along with experience in relevant testing frameworks
  • Experience in designing and implementing RAG systems
  • Experience with using LLMs
  • Solid understanding of architecture and software design patterns for server-side applications
  • Collaborative and growth mindset, with a commitment to ongoing learning and development
  • Self-managed and agile, with the ability to problem-solve independently
  • Experience building scalable and stable software applications
  • Ability to formulate hypotheses, conduct experiments, and analyze results to inform engineering decisions
  • Experience with managing and deploying cloud services with AWS (or other cloud platform)

    • Technology stack

  • The code is largely written in Python, with some parts in Ruby
  • Platform is built on AWS
  • Data is stored in RDS MySQL, Redis, S3, ElasticSearch, Kafka, and Athena
  • Services are deployed to Kubernetes using Docker, with Kafka for stream processing
  • Infrastructure health is monitored using Datadog and Sentry
