The main purpose of the role is to assure the delivery of all accounting, compliance, financial and tax reporting processes in scope. Statutory and Tax Reporting Senior Specialist is a crucial role in ensuring statutory, tax and group reporting with appropriate quality and in accordance to deadlines. As Statutory and Tax Reporting Senior Specialist your responsibilities will include :

Performing compliance & reporting tasks in line with defined processes and work instructions

Executing Period-End tasks for assigned unit(s), performing reconciliation, and clearing of accounts, reporting actuals in reporting systems on timely manner and meeting quality targets

Acting as subject matter expert for end-to end statutory processes, e.g., indirect tax filings, statutory financial statement preparation, direct tax, driving all statutory processes for assigned business area as per agreed timelines and scope, coordinating audit process for assigned entities

Providing support to Financial Controller in the assigned controlling tasks

Your future team

As our Statutory and Tax Reporting Senior Specialist you will be part of Accounting to Reporting team who consist of around 12 people. A2R team is part of A2R department that is responsible for accounting and group, statutory and tax reporting processes delivered to over 50 entities around the world.

What you bring to the team

Master’s degree in Finance / Accounting

Minimum 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience

English at B2 / C1 (another European language is welcome)

GL accounting knowledge including IFRS knowledge

Experience with preparing financial statements under IFRS and / or local standards

Relevant practical tax experience (indirect, direct taxes)

Knowledge of SAP and MS Office

ACCA / CIMA is an asset
