Data Analyst in Financial Risk ETL process

Role Description :

We seek a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our Financial Risk ETL process team in Warsaw. In this pivotal role, you will comprehend and manage complex data and ETL processes within our in-house data platform. Your primary duties will include maintaining and handling extensive data streams, focusing on Net Interest Income (NII) forecasting, valuation, and replication. You will collaborate closely with business and IT teams to translate functional requirements from business analysts into technical solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting the transformation and loading of finance data flows into QRM, monitoring the accuracy of data flows, and developing data quality controls. Additionally, you will assist in the development of data marts and reporting solutions using Power BI.

Requirements :

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, or data science within the banking sector, preferably on the ALM side.
• Proficient in SQL with hands-on experience.
• Familiarity with data management concepts such as data quality, data lineage, and data reconciliation.
• Understanding of data requirements for ALM software, Risk, or Financial reporting.
• Experience in requirement gathering for data feeds.
• Familiarity with data models and structures.
• Experience in Asset and Liability Management or any Risk control / modeling function is an asset.
• Reporting skills, preferably in Power BI.
• Master’s degree in econometrics, mathematics, economics, IT, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience with Agile (Scrum) methodologies is beneficial.
