Job Description
As an HCM Functional Consultant in DCG, you will leverage your expertise in Human Capital Management (HCM) along with hands-on experience in implementing at least one HCM module, preferably onboarding module, in a small to medium scale project. You will also recognize key trends impacting the clients, identify transformation levers, design or contribute to the next generation IT-led solutions, and facilitate solution deployment. You may be part of a small to medium sized team in this context. Additionally, you will also work on sales pursuits and market development activities, thought leadership tasks and other org-wide initiatives.Role and Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis and Functional ConsultingImplement, configure, and support Workday / SAP / Other HCM modules such as Onboarding, Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence Management.Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and enhancements as requiredDefine requirements and elaborate functional specifications for an HCM IT solution. Explore AI and Gen AI interventions in the solution designDocument AS-IS and TO-BE business processes and enablersDesign Business Use cases, lead Functional Architecture, re-engineer process models and integrate disparate services for end-to-end solution deliveryWork with Product Owners and business stakeholders to analyse requirements and prepare Product Backlog items. Prepare user stories and define acceptance criteriaAct as a bridge between the business stakeholders and the technology solution team from definition through deployment wearing multiple roles through the phasesSales Pursuits, Thought Leadership and Unit Initiatives Contribute to sales pursuits and market development initiatives, working with the sales and account teams. Build comprehensive proposals from inception to submission, owning up the domain / functional contents.Drive thought leadership and innovation tracks – industry solution, partnership, publication and speaker events.Lead org / unit initiatives.Required Skills & Experience (Mandatory)3+ years of experience of working with and implementing HR / HCM systems in small-medium scale projects, with expertise in at least one of the following modules : Recruitment & Onboarding (preferred)Core HRTime & AttendancePayroll and Compensation Management Engagement, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Initiatives, Workplace Safety and Employee HealthLearning & Development Hands-on experience in SAP SuccessFactors / Workday / Cornerstone / Other HCM solutionsGood understanding of HR processes and workflowsExperience with testing, security, reporting, and integrationsPreferred Skills (Good to Have) Experience related to AI / Gen AI / ML / Analytics / Data (preferred)Domain / Business Consultant, Business Analyst, Product Owner / Proxy Product Owner, or industry practitioner.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience in driving meetings / workshops with senior business stakeholdersConversant with design-thinking based, agile lightweight approaches such as customer personas, customer journeys, story maps etc.Global exposure and experience in a multi-cultural environmentExperience in Software development lifecycle and Agile methodologiesExperience with ANY tools such as Confluence, JIRA, VISIO, BALSAMIC, MURAL, FIGMA, RALLY etc.Education QualificationsGraduation – Engineering, Science, Commerce, Law, Social Science etc.Post-Graduation – MBA (preferred)Any relevant industry certification such as SAFe, CSPO, CSM, Six Sigma, APICS, SCOR, PMP etc. is a plus PersonalBesides the professional qualifications of the candidates, we attach importance to personality traits.
