Job Overview :

We are looking for a Tax Specialist with a strong focus on personal income tax and cross-border tax compliance to join a prestigious global law firm. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to work closely with the Europe Head of Tax on the coordination and compliance of partner-level taxation matters across multiple jurisdictions.

You will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of partner personal income tax and social security filings, manage tax reporting processes, and support tax advisory projects across Europe. Advanced Excel skills are essential for success in this role, as you will handle complex data sets and contribute to high-impact tax analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Support the Europe Head of Tax in all aspects of tax operations with a primary focus on partner personal income tax and social security compliance.
  • Manage and coordinate multi-jurisdictional personal income tax filings for the Firm’s partners, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with external tax advisors and local financial controllers on individual tax matters and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain and update tax trackers, dashboards, and reports using advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, conditional formulas).
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of transfer pricing documentation and support ad-hoc tax projects.
  • Provide VAT and withholding tax guidance in coordination with local offices and external experts.
  • Contribute to tax planning initiatives and analysis to support the Firm’s financial and strategic goals.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in tax compliance and advisory, ideally with a focus on personal income tax (Big 4 experience preferred).
  • Strong working knowledge of international personal tax and social security regulations.
  • Excellent Excel skills – including data manipulation, analysis, and reporting tools.
  • Fluent in English (C1 level) – both written and spoken.
  • Highly detail-oriented, analytical, and organized.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive self-starter with a collaborative, "can-do" approach.
