JOB DESCRIPTION

Job title :                  Planning & Inventory Analyst – Consumer Supply Chain

Department :           Consumer

Reports to :              Head of Consumer Supply Chain Operations

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Planning & Inventory Analyst to support strategic and operational initiatives within our Consumer Supply Chain team. This role will focus primarily on forecasting, budgeting, inventory analysis, strategy development , and performance monitoring. The ideal candidate will play a critical part in improving inventory accuracy, optimizing stock levels, and driving visibility through dashboards and KPIs.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts to support inventory planning, purchasing, and financial budgeting processes.

Lead budget planning activities related to inventory investments.

Support comprehensive inventory analysis , identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities to optimize stock levels and turnover.

Support the creation and execution of an inventory strategy that balances availability, working capital, and supply chain efficiency.

Build, maintain, and improve dashboards and KPI reports to provide visibility into inventory health, forecast accuracy, and supply chain performance.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain and other deparments to align forecasts and inventory strategies with business goals.

Analyze historical sales, seasonality, and market trends to enhance forecasting models and support long-term planning.

Drive continuous improvement in forecasting and planning processes using data-driven insights and automation where possible.

Support strategic initiatives such as product lifecycle management, excess & obsolete inventory mitigation, and seasonal planning.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related analytical field

3–5 years of experience in forecasting, budgeting, demand / inventory analysis , or supply chain planning

Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, scenario modeling); experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus

Excellent analytical skills and a structured approach to data interpretation and problem-solving

Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP

Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal

Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with international team

Preferred Attributes

Based in Poland

Experience with consumer electronics, accessories, or fast-moving consumer goods

Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with competing priorities
