To be successful in software engineering at Akamai, you’ll :

• Have 3+ years of experience and knowledge in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Demonstrate proficiency in software development ( Golang, Python, C / C++, or Java – at least two languages)
• Show experience in working with Linux environment
• Demonstrate experience working with relational and non-relational databases
• Demonstrate containerization or orchestration skills (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes )

Nice to have : Big Data (Hadoop, Spark), internet protocols, microservices architecture experience, Angular / TypeScript.
