Sustainability Certification Analyst

Your responsibilities

  • Prepare reports on sustainable inputs and outputs of sales organizations / plants
  • Manage online portals, including but not limited to :
  • verification of all incoming transactions, follow up on missing credits
  • upload outgoing transactions
  • update internal files accordingly
  • Run the month end volume reconciliation process for the assigned regions
  • Close cooperation with various departments (such Quality, Commercial, Customer service, Finance, Master data) to assure accurate and timely reporting
  • Active preparation and participation in external sustainability audits conducted in order to obtain, extend or renew certificates
  • Provide all necessary input to enable correct communication and feedback to customer queries
  • Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency in financial management and reporting

Our requirements

  • University degree in economics or business administration or similar educational background
  • Experience of 4-5 years in a corporate environment, preferably in data management (financial or non-financial data)
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) is indispensable (Level C1). Additional languages would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of sustainability reporting processes
  • Highly independent and systematic approach to work
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good command of Microsoft Excel, additionally knowledge of SAP, SAP BO Analysis (SAP Business Warehouse) and Power BI is an advantage

  • We are currently looking for candidates to fill a position of Sustainability Reporting Analyst to join our team. We are providing internal and external sustainability volume reporting to support our company’s sustainability commitment. In particular, you will manage incoming and outgoing certification credits on external portals, you will support our customers who have questions on our reporting and you represent the team during audits. Ad hoc tasks could include reconciliation of different datasets or even build new reporting from scratch. The tasks of our team are an important requirement of the different sustainability programs (e.g. Rainforest Alliance, UTZ, Fairtrade, RSPO & ProTerra) and are key for BC to reach its Forever Chocolate goal.
