The person hired for this position will be responsible for :

• You work as a purchaser in the Powertrain & Electrification area. This means you shape the future of key technologies like E-Mobility and next-generation diesel systems - cornerstones of our sustainable mobility strategy.
• Manage a diverse portfolio of components for both conventional and electric powertrains, with full responsibility from concept to End-of-Life.
• Partner with cross-functional teams from development, sales, finance, quality, logistics, and production to deliver excellence in Technology, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Sustainability.
• Conduct independent negotiations, prepare compelling presentations for sourcing decisions, and represent you work in high-level decision-making bodies within MAN Truck & Bus SE and the TRATON Group.
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through smart collaboration and proactive thinking.
• Travel regularly to suppliers and partners across the VW Group to strengthen relationships and drive results.
