Front-End Engineer Krakow, Poland

Our team is building the New Global Trading Platform that optimizes flexibility, performance, responsiveness, and resiliency. We use technologies like React, Cypress, Yarn, Styled Components, Vite, Gitlab CI, Kubernetes, and AWS. You’ll work with the developers of our REST APIs and WebSockets to deliver high-performance, low-latency interfaces for our end users.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to maintain and build our interfaces. This is a hands-on role within a delivery team, and you will be active in all phases of the development lifecycle. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in the design of our interfaces, working directly with the customer to create wireframes and mockups to deliver great user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Work with the team to develop interfaces for our end users
• Work on designs to arrive at the most performant and user-friendly solutions
• Investigate, reproduce, and resolve defects
• Refactor code where there’s benefit in doing so
• Review code and provide constructive feedback
• Pair program with other UI developers
• Serve as a mentor / coach on frontend development, working with other engineers
• Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability
• Translate functional and non-functional requirements into working software
