Are you at the beginning of your legal career and aspiring to start your journey as an in-house lawyer in one of the world's largest financial institutions? Do you seek aprehensive program that will allow you to gain valuable professional experience while also balancing work with studies or bar training?

Our UBS Legal Academy is designed just for you.

Our one-year program provides a significant career advantage, as the participants will develop professional skills and industry knowledge only attainable within the UBS Group Legal function. Participants will have the opportunity to work alongside highly skilled teams within Group Legal. These teams specialize in multiple and unique areas of expertise such as data privacy and new technologies, IP, contracting, cross border legal, as well as alternative investment products review. As an intern you will be located in one of two Group Legal offices- Krakow or Wroclaw.

The aim of the UBS Legal Academy program is to develop young lawyers into professional, high-skilled, and confident employees, whom UBS can then hire for permanent in-house roles within the Group Legal.

Your team

Full professional experience as an in-house lawyer within the Group Legal of a recognized international organization,
Provision of customized onboarding training tailored to the specific expertise of each team (dependent on team assignment),
prehensive series of training sessions covering soft skills development, personal branding, and coaching sessions lead by an external coach,
Hard skills training conducted by experienced lawyers,
Insight into the operations of one of the world's leading financial institutions,
A flexible approach to balancing legal studies / bar training with workmitments,
Exposure to working in a multicultural environment,
A hybrid-working model.

Your expertise

We are looking for individuals who :

Are currently in their final years of law studies (IV and V year) or have recently graduated with a law degree (within two years of graduation),

Aspire to kick-start their careers in a financial institution, serving as in-house lawyers within the legal department of one of the world's most recognizable brands,

Show willingness to take on new challenges and display amitment to continuous development,

Possess fluent English language skills (both verbally and in writing),

Are team players capable of building strong relationships,

Uponpletion of the program, they aim to continue their careers with UBS,

Canmit to a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Professional experience is not required, but we are seeking proactive and engaged individuals, for instance, those involved in student organizations or volunteering activities.
