Information Security Engineer

Job descriptionExperience in SOC, incident response, or threat detection, with a progression from analyst to engineer for 5+ years. Strong hands-on skills in malware analysis, digital forensics, and offensive security. Certifications such as GCIH, GCFA, OSCP, CySA+. Proficiency in SIEM / SOAR platforms (Splunk, Sentinel, Elastic, Chronicle). Skills in Python and PowerShell for automation and investigation. Deep knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, attacker TTPs, and threat hunting. Experience in incident response leadership, documentation, and legal reporting. Familiarity with IDS / IPS tuning, deception tech, and integrating OSINT / dark web threat intel. Continuously learning through conferences (DEF CON, SANS) and advanced training. Level of English – from Upper- Intermediate+ and above. Certifications GCFE / GNFA. Experience in teamwork with leaders in FinTech, Healthcare, Retail, Telecom, and others. Responsibilities
- Monitoring and defending the organization’s infrastructure by managing SIEM, EDR / XDR, and threat detection tools to identify and respond to security incidents in real time.
- Leading incident response efforts, including forensic investigations, containment, eradication, and post-mortem analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Optimizing security tooling and automation, fine-tuning alerts, reducing false positives, and integrating threat intelligence feeds for proactive defense.
- Collaborating with threat hunters and red teams to simulate attacks, uncover vulnerabilities, and improve detection capabilities across endpoints, networks, and cloud environments.
