Accountant - General Accounting (GA)

Your responsibilities
- Preparing and posting journal entries in the general ledger and ensuring accurate transaction recording
- Performing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
- Accounting for transactions related to stocks, fixed assets, IFRS16, taxes, and cost provisions
- Calculating and accounting for accrued income, expenses, and write-downs
- Assisting in the preparation of tax returns and statutory reports
- Supporting intercompany reconciliations
- Monitoring and analysing general ledger accounts, identifying and explaining discrepancies
- Reporting actual and forecasted financial statements in the group reporting system
- Analysis and implementation of changes in processes, in accordance with IFRS requirements
- Additionally :
- Participating in projects aimed at improving accounting processes
- Working closely with clients to provide top-quality services (including in other languages, if applicable)
- Keeping process documentation up to date
- Participating in knowledge transfers
- Working daily and improving your skills in accounting processes as well as SAP and Excel
