This is a fixed-term contract role, with the intention to explore long-term opportunities.
This position is based at our friendly office in Warsaw (Poland) and you will join our Digital Banking 2.0 Initiative, being a top priority in the 'Open for Business' strategy in BEC. The Digital Banking Team, within the Omnichannel Domain, is in charge of implementation of new functionalities in Mobile Banking application.
The main ambition of the Digital Bank 2.0 is to introduce more advanced functionalities in mobile banking self-service to improve the user experience for bank customers and elevate the everyday banking experience.
The goal is to provide highly competitive solutions to the banks in the BEC community and their customers - to become more competitive on daily digital banking. BEC aims to enable customers to handle more daily banking needs through mobile self-service, which is to increase end-customer satisfaction related to self-service.
You'll be part of a dynamic and collaborative team, driving real impact by implementing features that truly matter to end-users. Your contributions will help shape a smarter, more intuitive mobile banking platform, with putting customer satisfaction at the forefront.
At BEC, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, but we also keep the opportunity to work remotely up to 8 days per month. Your direct manager will be Marcin Niedbała.
Primary task and responsibilities include :
- Design and execute manual test cases for digital banking applications (web and mobile).
- Validate system behavior across multiple browsers and devices.
- Actively contribute to and perform quality assurance activities throughout the release process
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to clarify requirements and identify edge cases.
- Perform regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
- Document defects clearly and track them through resolution.
- Plan and execute accessibility (WCAG) testing for digital banking applications across both web and mobile platforms
- Participate and facilitate agile ceremonies, with a functional role of Scrum Master
To succeed you will have :
Academical background - completion of relevant studies (e.g., Computer Science, etc.)At least 5+ years of experience in manual testingSolid knowledge with ability to perform quality assurance activities :Risk- based testingUnderstand and apply test techniques, processes and toolsVerification of features, stories, acceptance criteria and other relevant test basisPlan relevant QA and test activitiesEffectively perform test execution and create needed test artefactsProvide input for test reporting and test strategies, create a test reportFamiliarity with Delivery Process, Defect Management Process, Compliance and Risk mgmt. processesStrong understanding of Agile best practices and a genuine interest or passion for supporting the team in this areaFluent in English (written and spoken)Excellent communication and teamwork skillsAnalytical mindset and problem-solving skillsA curious mind with an open nature and desire to knowledge-share with others.Positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to embrace new challengesTools & environments :
JIRA, Confluence, SQLREST and HTTP protocolExperience with REST APIs and API testing tools (e.g., Postman).Extensive hands-on experience in testing mobile environments and conducting accessibility evaluationsExperience with screen readers, contrast checkers, and keyboard navigation across both mobile and desktop platformsProficiency in using Xray test management toolAbility to perform cross-browser and responsive testing without automation tools.It's nice-to-have :
