What will you be doing?
Managing subordinate teams in accordance with Polish labor law
- Participating in the development and implementation of the Digital / Web area
- strategy
- Resourcing and recruitment, talent management, goal setting, compensation policy, promotions
- Managing the development of subordinate teams and being responsible for their transformation
- Identifying areas for improvement in current processes and implementing appropriate solutions
- Being responsible for timely planning and execution of the budget for subordinate teams
- Ensuring continuity of provided services
- Managing stakeholder relationships
- Cooperating with external vendors
- Supporting the design, construction, and development of systems in the Digital / Web area
- Mentoring, coaching, and promoting knowledge sharing within the team
- Building team competency development plans and overseeing their implementation
What we’re looking for?
Experience
At least 10 years of experience in software development, including a minimum of 5 years in managerial positionsProven experience in managing and developing interdisciplinary software development teamsAbility to make decisions based on incomplete dataExperience in managing stakeholder relationshipsA comprehensive perspective with an understanding of industry trends, technologies, and business modelsExperience with tools supporting management processes and team collaborationSoftware Development Skills
Knowledge of standards related to design patterns, code quality, testing, and code documentationStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and eliminate root causesFamiliarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies used in project managementCommunication and Collaboration
Excellent English communication skills, enabling effective collaboration in international teams, including stakeholders, data engineers, analysts, and software developersAbility to influence others by building positive relationships and communicating effectively, tailored to the audience’s environment, motivations, and needsExperience working in agile project environments, including participation in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectivesLeadership and Advisory Competencies
Ability to lead engineering teams and provide guidance to enhance their technical skillsOversight of adherence to engineering best practices and delivery of high-quality codeUnderstanding of business-related issuesMindset
