As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will be a key technical contributor within the "Billing Enabling" team, which currently consists of eight people. Your role will be focused on supporting the operational reliability of our existing invoicing solution, KUREPO (Kunden REchnung POst). This solution is a custom development based on Oracle Forms. You will also work on the ZLF (ZukunftsLösung Fakturierung) and potentially the BDH (Billing Data Hub) projects. The long-term goal is to eliminate or replace all Oracle developments by 2030, and this position may be needed until then, with annual contract extensions.You will be working closely with the "Billing Core" team, and both teams share the same Product Owner and Scrum Master. The teams work together and follow the SAFe agile method. Your role will be pivotal in all stages of the development lifecycle, from architecting solutions and making key technical decisions to mentoring team members and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable features.

Responsibilities :

Support and ensure the operational reliability of the KUREPO invoicing solution.

Design and implement scalable, resilient, and maintainable systems for our applications.

Drive technical decisions and promote best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.

Collaborate closely with Product and Design to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

Proactively identify and address technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and areas for system improvement.

Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

Skills&Requirements :

5+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development.

Proven experience in designing and architecting scalable, distributed systems.

Strong knowledge of Java / Spring with experience in REST API, jUnit, Swagger, XML / JSON, and development tools like IntelliJ, Jenkins, and Git.

Proficient with Angular , including TypeScript, HTML / CSS, and Node.js.

Strong SQL skills and experience with databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

Experience with agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum), as well as project management and documentation tools like Jira / Confluence .

Fluent in German (B2 / C1) , both written and spoken, in a professional context.

Upper-intermediate or higher level of spoken and written English.

Nice to have

Experience with Kafka for event-streaming and microservices architectures.

Knowledge of PL / SQL / Oracle DB is a plus, given the context of replacing legacy systems.

Experience with Docker / Kubernetes / AWS for deployment and cloud-native applications.

Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Grafana / Splunk .

Experience with test automation using Robot Framework .

Interest in mentoring or supporting less experienced teammates, with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Curiosity about leadership and people development, being proactive in driving improvements in code quality or team practices.
