Our CIB Technology teams work closely with HSBC’s global CIB businesses to help design and build digital services that allow our millions of customers around the world, to bank quickly, simply, and securely, and our staff to support them efficiently.

We are seeking a highly motivated hands-on Senior Technology Delivery Lead and entity manager to join our CIB Technology Sustainability area. The role will lead one of the Sustainability sub-value streams and will be fully accountable to the global business sub-value lead of all technology aspects about the stream.

This role will oversee end to end aspects of the delivery, from initiation to implementation, defining MVPs, vendor strategy, architecture and technical stacks. This role will be liaising with the relevant teams (business, operations, technology, etc) to ensure alignment and successful deliveries.

In addition to the strategic program, this role will be accountable for all aspects of CTB and RTB investments, production stability, audit, risk and compliance, all matters related to the service.

The ideal candidate is an experienced global leader, with a proven track record of matrix management and strong delivery of transformation program as well as being a leader of organizational, operational and technological change.

responsibilities :

Together with the business define the product strategy.

Work with the business, operations and technology to deliver the strategy end to end.

Be fully accountable for the product, whether it is Production Stability, Resilience, Security, Product features, Performance etc.

Deliver in an agile and efficient manner; manage supply and demand pipeline and give guidance, direction for making decision to achieve goals, deliver products that align with business.

Work closely with the Quality Engineering Lead, Lead Engineer and Architect to build a fit-for-future product.

Follow HSBC Architecture and Engineering standards and strategy.

Provide mentorship and training to technology teams, to foster the learning culture and to enhance team delivery and performance quality.

Address technical engineering debt and drive for technical evolution aka Digital Transformation for the teams by working closely with relevant parties (e.g., business, Subject Matter Experts, Solution Architects, etc).

Champion adherence to standard controls and driving teams to achieve compliance and framework, capability management, Security controls and technology architecture designs.

requirements-expected :

Min. 10+ year experience of transformation and software developments with minimum 5 years of Agile methodology.

Demonstrable business banking knowledge in one or more of the following domains : Sustainability, Regulatory, Products or Risks.

Strong delivery record on enterprise level services and products and demonstrable experience leading and managing agile, cross function delivery distributed technology teams encompassing 30+ staff (direct and indirect resources) for a minimum of 10 years.

Have demonstrable experience working and implementing third party solutions and customer facing applications.

Have budget management experience ($4m+).

Experience in presenting to senior stakeholder in both business and technology.

Possess strong demonstrable technical capabilities (API, Microservices), knowledge and experience on DevOps, Disciplined Agile Delivery (DAD), Agile control Framework.

Have experience with Production Support and incident management and excellent knowledge of technical environment (e.g., Java, python, CSSS, Oracle, etc) and will have significant responsibility in setting the way forward in the types of technology they look after. Forward thinking, making the right decisions.

Experience with cloud native development and public cloud providers like GCP or Azure, test automation and BDD.

Ability to mentor, develop talent and motivate staff to reach their optimum performance levels and career development.
