We are looking for a proactive and people-oriented Welcome Desk Host to join our client's team. This is a front-of-house role based at the reception area, but it goes beyond traditional receptionist duties. The ideal candidate will be the face of the office, creating a warm, professional, and engaging environment for employees and visitors alike.
Your responsibilities
- Act as the face of the office, creating a positive first impression for all visitors and employees
- Greet guests and staff, engage in friendly conversation, and anticipate their needs
- Manage visitor check-ins, issue passes, and distribute security badges for new hires
- Provide information about the building, office policies, and wayfinding
- Maintain a presentable, organized, and welcoming reception area
- Support the onboarding process by offering essential information and resources
- Identify and report any office safety or security concerns
- Assist with receiving and distributing mail and packages
- Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and internal teams as needed
- Manage meeting room bookings and support event logistics, including catering and equipment
- Organize and promote office events, wellness activities, and team-building initiatives
- Create and share internal communications using tools like Outlook or Viva Engage
- Support the office ticketing system, ensuring requests are followed up and resolved
- Help with administrative tasks such as business card ordering
- Participate in health and safety assessments
- Suggest improvements to enhance the office environment and employee experience
Employer requirements
