Accountant, Accounting & Reporting (maternity cover)

Your responsibilities

  • Prepare financial statements and ensure timely, accurate reporting in compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Consolidate financial data for multiple entities and support internal / external audits.
  • Maintain the quality, consistency, and integrity of financial information.
  • Apply accounting policies and make judgment-based decisions on complex issues.
  • Oversee internal control frameworks and ensure their effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Tax, Treasury, FP&A, and Shared Services during month-end and year-end closing.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and share accounting expertise across teams.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders and auditors as needed.
  • Occasionally travel (up to 5%) for internal meetings, training, or audits.

Our requirements

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
  • Strong knowledge of UoR, IFRS, and Polish tax law (CIT, WHT).
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office.
  • Business-level of English and Polish (written and spoken).
  • Experience in multinational environments (a plus).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and time management skills.
  • A hands-on, flexible, and improvement-driven mindset.

  • We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant, Accounting & Reporting to join our team on a fixed-term maternity cover basis. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting across the CEE region. You will work closely with local finance teams, shared service centers, and external auditors, and support cross-functional collaboration with departments such as Tax, Treasury, and FP&A. This position offers a dynamic environment with opportunities to contribute to process improvements and knowledge sharing.
