About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic project leader to oversee our Energy Storage Systems (ESS) business in Sungrow Europe. The role is pivotal in delivering ESS projects successfully while maintaining high‑level customer engagement and driving growth in a high‑priority market.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Project Planning – define BESS project scope (S, A, B level), goals, deliverables, and develop detailed timelines (Gantt charts, schedules) and budgets.
  • Identify risks and create mitigation strategies.
  • Team Coordination & Leadership – assign tasks, facilitate cross‑functional collaboration (commercial, service, product solution, contract & finance) and motivate the team to meet deadlines.
  • Stakeholder Communication – act as the primary contact for clients, executives and team members; provide regular progress updates and manage expectations.
  • Project Payment & Resource Management – track payment milestones, ensure program adherence, allocate manpower, tools and materials efficiently.
  • Risk & Issue Management – develop contingency plans, resolve conflicts, remove obstacles.
  • Quality Assurance & Delivery – ensure deliverables meet quality standards and conduct post‑project reviews.

Profile & Qualifications

  • 2‑3+ years in project management leadership within energy storage, renewables or technical infrastructure sectors.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • Proven experience managing teams and developing customer relationships.
  • Strong contract negotiation and solution‑based project management abilities.
  • Fluent in English and Polish (minimum B2 level); additional Eastern European languages are beneficial.
  • Willingness to travel 40‑50% of the time.

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) – PMI
  • PRINCE2 (Projects in Controlled Environments)
  • CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) – Entry‑level
