Job descriptionAs a Senior Kubernetes Platform SRE, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution committed to boosting the reliability, scalability, and security of its internal infrastructure. You will join a specialized engineering team responsible for maintaining and optimizing the Internal Kubernetes Platform (IKP), supporting critical banking operations worldwide. This role offers an inspiring environment for innovation and professional growth in the fintech sector. Unleash the power of Kubernetes — drive the backbone of global financial infrastructure! Kraków / Warszawa-based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days per week in the office). Ensuring reliability, availability, and performance of the internal Kubernetes infrastructure Supporting deployment, configuration, and maintenance of the Kubernetes platform Troubleshooting and resolving incidents, performance issues, and integration failures Performing root cause analysis and implementing reliability improvements Collaborating with infrastructure and development teams to manage deployments and automate processes Monitoring system performance and automating operational tasks where possible Managing incident, problem, and change processes according to ITIL standards Planning and coordinating team activities and administrative tasks as required Maintaining comprehensive documentation of processes, configurations, and platform changes Providing 24 / 7 support as part of an on-call rotation, including weekends 4+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration Strong understanding of containerization, orchestration, and Kubernetes operations Experience with Unix / Linux administration and system troubleshooting Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools and automation practices Knowledge of ITIL processes including incident, problem, and change management Strong analytical skills for diagnosing and resolving technical issues Ability to interpret and analyze data from logs and monitoring dashboards Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities across global environments Proven track record of improving system reliability and operational efficiency Proficiency in written and spoken English Stable and long-term cooperation with very good conditions Enhance your skills and develop your expertise in the financial industry Work on the most strategic projects available in the market Define your career roadmap and develop yourself in the best and fastest possible way by delivering strategic projects for different clients of ITDS over several years Participate in Social Events, training, and work in an international environment Access to attractive Medical Package Access to Multisport Program Access to Pluralsight Flexible hours sharing the costs of sports activities private medical care remote work opportunities flexible working time fruits integration events corporate gym saving & investment scheme no dress code coffee / tea drinks christmas gifts birthday celebration sharing the costs of a streaming platform subscription access to +100 projects access to Pluralsight
