Senior SQL Data Analyst

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior SQL Data Analyst to join a key project within the operational risk area for a leading client in the banking industry. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical skills in SQL and a passion for problem-solving within the financial domain.

This is a hybrid role, requiring on-site presence 2 times a week in one of the following locations : Warsaw, Gdańsk, Gdynia, or Łódź.

Your responsibilities

As part of a data-driven team, you will work on advanced data analysis, reporting, and support for regulatory requirements. Your work will have a direct impact on business-critical processes related to financial risk and compliance.

Our requirements

• SQL – Expert level : advanced querying, data extraction, transformation, optimization
• Strong problem-solving abilities : ability to work independently on complex data issues
• Excellent communication skills : ability to convey findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
• Good presentation skills : comfortable presenting results and insights to stakeholders
• Knowledge of banking processes or systems
• Experience in accounting or FINREP regulatory reporting
