Senior Control Engineer – Power Electronics

Your responsibilities
- Developing mathematical models of power electronic converters and their control systems using software like MATLAB / Simulink, PLECS, or PSIM
- Designing control algorithms to ensure efficient and stable operation of power electronic systems
- Applying control algorithms to hardware components such as microcontrollers and digital signal processors (DSPs)
- Conducting experimental tests and simulations to validate the performance of control systems and ensure they meet design specifications
- Collaborating with other engineering teams to integrate control systems into larger power electronic systems and ensure seamless operation
- Ensuring that control systems comply with industry standards and safety regulations
- Continuously monitoring the performance of control systems and making adjustments as necessary to maintain optimal operation
- Diagnosing and resolving issues that arise in the control systems to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency
- Staying updated with the latest advancements in power electronics and control engineering to incorporate new technologies and improve existing systems
Our requirements
4–7 years of professional experience in power electronics or control systemsGood command of English (spoken and written) required for daily communication and documentation2-3 full design cycles participated (from requirements to commissioning)Develop and optimize control algorithms for power converters and invertersDesign and simulate power electronic systems using PLECS, MATLAB / SimulinkImplement control software in C / C++ for embedded platformsDesign and support control and protection systems, including thermal managementAssist in the integration, testing, and commissioning of power electronic systemsCollaborate with customers on technical solutions, provide on-site and remote supportSupport control board design and contribute to system-level architecture decisionsWork closely with R&D to ensure the successful application of converter / inverter designsOptional

As a Control Engineer in Power Electronics, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, testing, and optimization of control systems for power electronic converters. Your role will span the full product development cycle—from gathering system requirements and developing control algorithms, through simulation and software implementation, to commissioning and validation of the final system.
