Embedded SW developer for Automotive : Combustion Engines and Fuel Injection Controllers.
Requirements :
Domain Knowledge (Combustion Engines and Fuel Injection Controllers)
- In-depth understanding of internal combustion engine operation : gasoline, diesel, GDI, CRDi, etc.
- Familiarity with fuel injection types and technologies : sequential, direct, common rail.
- Deep knowledge of OEM fuel injection controllers (e.g., Bosch, Delphi, Continental, Denso) :
- Controller hardware architecture
- Software architecture (e.g., AUTOSAR)
- Interfaces : CAN, LIN, FlexRay, SENT, Ethernet
- Understanding of control algorithms :
- Injection strategies, ignition maps, dose adaptation, cold-start logic
- OBD diagnostics strategies, component monitoring
- Loop control : closed-loop lambda regulation, open-loop modes
- Knowledge of industry standards :
- OBD-II / EOBD
- ISO 26262 (functional safety)
- AUTOSAR (software modules)
- UDS (diagnostics)
Software Competencies :
Strong proficiency in Embedded C / C++, including in real-time systemsExperience with RTOS (e.g., OSEK, FreeRTOS, AUTOSAR OS)Ability to work with AUTOSAR Classic automotive systemsFamiliarity with tools such as :MATLAB / Simulink (for strategy modeling and code generation) / CANoe, CANalyzer (network analysis and testing) / ETAS INCA, Vector DaVinci Developer, TRACE32
