Summary :

We are actively hiring a full-time QA Engineer who wants to craft something meaningful that will deeply impact people’s lives. Bamboo Health supports a number of customer facing web-based applications that facilitate care coordination. As a QA Engineer, you will work closely with software engineers, product owners, cloud team, automation team, and managers in an agile environment to develop and apply test suites, analyze results, and specify bugs to be squashed. You will be expected to make an impact on both manual and automation test coverage and improve software release quality.

What Success Looks Like…

In 3 months…

  • Become familiar with our QA processes and QA best practices.
  • Develop an understanding of Bamboo Health products and gain domain knowledge.
  • Create test plans and test cases for new features.
  • Contribute to testing efforts of new features and regression testing.
  • Identify new feature defects.
  • Become familiar with our QA automation frameworks.

In 6 months…

  • Understand the business requirements of our suite of products.
  • Work with the engineering team to identify risk and effort of new features.
  • Maintain feature test cases.
  • Understand the automation scripts for the products you are testing.
  • Maintain automation test coverage for the existing automated test suites.
  • In 12 months…

  • Understand how new features fit within the business.
  • Prioritize test cases for regression suite.
  • Identify, record, track software defects, and work closely with the engineering team to ensure timely resolution.
  • Report on system defects.
  • Contribute to QA engineering process improvement.

    What You Need :

  • 2+ years of experience with software testing, including writing and executing automated test scripts.
  • Strong practical QA principles and practices foundation, including test strategy, planning, execution, and automation.
  • Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Skilled at testing Web applications and Web Services
  • Knowledge of automation frameworks (Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Allure Reports) and writing SQL queries.
  • Understanding of Jenkins or other CI / CD tooling.
  • Understanding of Linux distributions and cloud environment (AWS, MS Azure, etc.).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A work environment that is conducive to high quality virtual interactions. This includes but is not limited to being able to work from a quiet space with minimal interruptions or distractions, and a strong internet connection.
  • Experience integrating AI-driven tools or techniques into QA workflows is a strong plus.
  • The ability to travel periodically for work.
