We are looking for an experienced  Embedded Software Requirements Engineer  to join our team and take ownership of defining  Low-Level Software Requirements  for  VxWorks BSP (Board Support Package) components. You’ll work on real-time embedded systems used in high-reliability aerospace domain.

We are a small team of a real experts where the hierarchy is really flat and where the main focus is put on the customer projects. The competence and the quality of the delivered code are the main factors which distinguish us from the competition.

We are looking for experienced embedded C / C++ developers to join our avionic or automotive projects like a Driver Monitoring Systems, Digital Mirrors, Infotainment Systems.

We have been working exclusively remotely since 2017. We are happy to share our knowledge from the automotive and avionic domain.

• 2+ years of experience in writing software requirements for embedded systems
• Ability to write clear, testable, and traceable requirements (LLRs)
• Experience working on  safety-critical systems  (e.g., aerospace, automotive, industrial)
• Familiarity with industry standards like  DO-178C ,  ARP4754 , or similar
• Ability to read and understand C / C++ code
• Solid knowledge of git and SVN repositories
• Excellent written and spoken  English
• Understanding of  VxWorks or other RTOS , especially BSP layer and low-level drivers
• Hands-on knowledge of requirements management tools (e.g.,  DOORS ,  Polarion ,  Jama )
• Abilit to design test cases
• Familiarity with other RTOS platforms and hardware architectures (e.g., ARM, PowerPC)

Write, structure, and maintain low-level software requirements for BSP components such as bootloaders, device drivers, and hardware abstraction layers (HAL) in the VxWorks OS, Collaborate with software architects, developers, and testers to ensure alignment of requirements with system architecture and business goals, Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., DO-178C) and contribute to safety-critical documentation, Participate in technical reviews of requirements and provide input during implementation and verification phase] Requirements : Embedded system, C, C++, Git, SVN, RTOS, Polarion, ARM, PowerPC, Test case Tools : Jira, Polarion, Confluence, GitHub, SharePoint, GitLab, Bitbucket, gerrit, reviewboard, Coverity, Parasoft, GIT, SVN, Jenkins, GoCD, Agile, Scrum.
