Although this is an individual contributor role, you will be an integral part of our global Group R&D organization, working closely with the recently established “Factory of the Future” team. We are a group of passionate, skilled, and knowledgeable professionals dedicated to developing and implementing cutting-edge technologies for stone wool production. The “Factory of the Future” team aims to modernize our production facilities by introducing best-in-class OT & IT solutions. We take pride in being world leaders in our industry – and we work hard every day to maintain and strengthen that position.
What you will be doing :
We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect within OT & IT. As we are developing many automation solutions and will be combining them on one factory - the data need to flow efficiently and we need to build the OT & IT architecture behind. As Senior Solution Architect, you will be driving this construction in close coordination with Group Digital plus Group Technology and you will act as coordinator to all the projects in the Factory of the Future portfolio & team.
Your technical background and experience will be relevant in driving the activities and in finding possible solutions. We work with proof of concepts, development of pilots, implementation strategies, roll-outs, test and operation of OT & IT Solutions for the ROCKWOOL Group. The Factory of the Future team will form the basis of OT & IT Strategies and Architectures to benefit the ROCKWOOL Group. We work in projects and base our solutions on a deep understanding of our production processes – and if standard components are not available, we develop our own.
Doing so, you will collaborate closely with a broad range of colleagues – from our lab to production sites across the Globe. Therefore, you can expect to travel approx. 5 day per month, mostly being on-site on the factory for meetings and testing.
