Model Risk Governance Manager
Responsibilities :
- Support the implementation and maintenance of policy-compliant model risk management practices within the Finance function.
- Assist in embedding model lifecycle and risk-related procedures, ensuring consistent application across the organization.
- Participate in executing model management processes for financial models, including onboarding, classification, and ongoing review.
- Conduct analyses, reporting, and sample testing to support the integration of risk management frameworks into Finance operations.
- Act as a subject matter expert for model inventory systems, model lifecycle procedures, and model risk policies.
- Collaborate with model inventory coordinators to identify and register models in compliance with internal standards.
- Coordinate periodic model inventory attestation exercises, including follow-ups, tracking submissions, and preparing reports for governance forums.
- Monitor and track open issues and audit findings related to model governance and support their timely resolution.
Requirements :
University degree in a relevant analytical field such as Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related discipline.Experience in risk governance and management, ideally within a regulated or financial services environment.Familiarity with model governance, model lifecycle management, or policy development; experience in model development, validation, or monitoring is a strong asset.Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage complex tasks and priorities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with stakeholders across various levels and presenting complex information in a clear and structured way.Ability to operate effectively in diverse technical environments.Proven track record of mentoring or guiding colleagues and promoting a culture of compliance and continuous learning.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with dashboarding or data visualization tools is a plus.We offer :
