We are currently looking for an experienced OT Network Architect to join a strategic, large-scale project for a global leader in the energy sector.
This role offers a unique opportunity to take part in the design of OT network architecture and the segmentation of IT and OT networks across approximately 70 manufacturing sites worldwide. You will play a key role in shaping the security and connectivity landscape of industrial environments on a global scale.
Your tasks
- Design and develop logical and physical network architecture documentation to support IT / OT network segmentation across global industrial sites
- Create and maintain High-Level and Low-Level Design (HLD / LLD) architecture documents
- Lead the design and deployment of OT network solutions in complex, multi-site environments
- Apply knowledge of networking fundamentals and segmentation principles to design secure and resilient infrastructures
- Identify and implement appropriate technologies to support evolving business and operational needs
- Ensure alignment of OT network designs with broader IT infrastructure and cybersecurity strategies
- Proactively identify risks and define mitigation strategies, including recommending suitable security controls for critical systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate OT systems such as SCADA, DCS, and PLCs into secure network architectures
- Maintain a holistic approach to network design, balancing availability, security, and industrial operation requirements
- Work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks, ensuring high-quality, timely delivery of solutions
Requirements
Background in creating Logical and Physical Design documents to support IT / OT Network SegmentationProven track record in developing and updating High-Level and Low-Level Design (HLD / LLD) Architecture DocumentsExtensive OT Network expertise with solid knowledge of networking fundamentals and segmentationHands-on practice in architecting and deploying global solutions within complex environmentsFamiliarity with existing, new, and emerging technologies, with the ability to apply them to business designs and modelsSolid understanding of broader Infrastructure and Security domainsSelf-motivated, capable of working independently, taking initiative, and delivering results without constant oversightFocused on a holistic approach, considering unique industrial constraints to balance security, availability, and operational requirementsSkilled in developing risk mitigation strategies and recommending appropriate security controls to safeguard critical assetsPractical exposure to operational technology systems in industrial environments (SCADA, DCS, PLCs, and other control systems)Deep understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and architectures, including TCP / IP, subletting, routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls, and segmentation principlesFluent Polish and residing in Poland requiredBenefits For You
