This Staff Engineer position is an individual contributor engineer within the Aerospace Integrated Manufacturing Engineering team.
As a hardware owner you will own all engineering functions related to Rotating Parts commodity for GE shops for Large Commercial engines (CFM56, CF6, LM6000).
In this role, you will be on the front lines of a new organization that is dedicated to improving the producibility, enhancing the Engineering-Supply chain relationship, and using SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) to dramatically improve the health of the supply chain and product to enable the business to fulfil our customers' expectations.
Examples of specific tasks you will be responsible for are : producibility design changes, on-going manufacturing support, and strategic improvements of rotors components.
