How you will make an impact

Join our supporting functions area in Arla IT, which is an area that besides finance also supports our HR and Legal functions. As a Senior Data Engineer you will be supporting the continuous rollout and optimization of our global Data Foundation footprint in Microsoft Azure and other platforms.

The role will include :

• Execute deliverables in the agile team
• Provide technical expertise and support in case of system issues coming from projects
• Provide consulting and advice on how to leverage existing system functionality in our processes
• Safeguard development standards
• Develop scalable solutions which are up to date with the newest technologies
• Be a sparring partner for other colleagues in IT and the business to discuss complex problems

What will make you successful

You will work with Data Foundation developers, cooperating often with other teams inside and outside of Digital Finance Solutions. Together you will develop and deliver solutions in rollouts, projects and high complexity demands.

Main task is building and designing data lake and DWH solutions using Azure tools. Additionally, designing and managing ETL pipelines to acquire data from various sources and process it in the cloud.

Experience working with SAP and Python, R, Scala or another programming language will be seen as a positive.

Furthermore, you are self-driven, proactive and eager to work in an environment where we aim to work in short feedback loops.
