Job description

As a Specialist in global Customer Service for STEP database you support the team in daily operations and advise on customer inquiries with the aim of increasing the customer satisfaction by accurate and on-schedule deliverables.

What will be your responsibilities?

  • Supporting daily operational processes with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and transparency
  • Identifying and sharing potential process improvement opportunities
  • Striving for high-quality outcomes in day-to-day tasks
  • Assisting in monitoring and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Managing standard issues and supporting issue resolution in the STEP database, including 1st-level support to regions
  • Supporting STEP-related initiatives and projects upon request as a contributing team member
  • Supporting and training regions on asset handling processes (e.g., data updates in STEP)
  • Handling data import / export tasks and managing the import of portfolio definitions and related data (e.g., prices, price groups)
  • Assisting RC in onboarding local 3rd-party products into STEP
  • Supporting reporting activities (e.g., Siemens Data Cloud, PowerBI) and contributing to process improvements
  • Conducting routine checks to support data quality and consistency
  • Contributing to team knowledge by documenting processes and sharing learnings
  • Participating in trainings and helping update work instructions when needed

Your defining qualities :

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience (e.g., apprenticeship or vocational training) accepted.
  • Experience with relational databases and MDM tools (e.g., Stibo STEP), with a focus on data exports, region support, data issue analysis etc.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in various areas of Customer Service and data maintenance (gained preferably in the technical sector)
  • Very Good knowledge of MS Office applications
  • B2 level English (written and spoken)
  • Passion for customer service
  • Good problem-solving skills and can-do attitude
  • Analytical thinking and ability to work in a team
  • Apply common sense to the rapidly changing environment
  • Self-motivation and flexibility
