For our Client we are currently looking for Candidates for the position of :

Lead Java Developer – Banking Industry

Location : Hybrid (1 day / month onsite)

Working Hours : Standard (8 : 00–16 : 00 or 9 : 00–17 : 00)

Rate : 170 PLN / hour

Start Date : ASAP

Project Duration : Long-term

Language Requirement : English (B2 level)

Team Setup : Agile (SAFe), international team, mid / senior-level professionals

About the Role

We are seeking a Lead Java Developer to join our client’s team in the banking sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge payment data solutions in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Act as a technical expert in Java and Apache Kafka within the Payments Data Domain.

Review, refactor, and optimize existing Java services.

Provide technical leadership to developers and data engineers in a Scrum team.

Contribute to solution architecture and ensure maintainability of applications.

Design, build, and maintain near real-time data pipelines.

Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to clarify requirements and reporting needs.

Support the transition to a modern technology stack.

Document designs and solutions effectively.

Required Skills & Experience

Expert-level proficiency in Java (Java 8 / Java 21).

Deep knowledge of Kafka (producer and consumer code).

Strong SQL skills (Oracle, DB2, MSSQL, or similar).

Experience with distributed, high-availability, high-throughput systems.

Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design, Event Sourcing, Microservices Architecture, and Clean Code principles.
